Payment Delivery Methods
Plastiq uses several delivery methods (i.e. payment disbursement methods) to complete customer payments. The following chart details their delivery timelines, required payment details, and any restrictions that impact their use. Delivery timelines are based on when the funding transactions are settled to Plastiq.
Please note that once a payment is delivered to a recipient, the recipient's bank will need to process the credit and post that payment to their statement. The length of this crediting period can vary among institutions and depends on their processing speeds. For international wire payments, funds will often need to process through intervening banks so this crediting period can last 2-5 business days

| EFT | Payment received in 3 business days. | -Business Name (i.e. Recipient Name) -Address -Contact Information -Bank Account Number -EFT Routing Number | This method is only available for recipients located in Canada that are already included in the Plastiq directory. Additional vendors cannot be added by customers. |
| Domestic Wire | Payment received in 1 business day. | -Beneficiary Name -Address -Contact Information -Bank Account Number -Wire Routing Number | This method is only available for recipients located in the United States and Canada. |
| International Wire | Payment received in 2-3 business days. Coming Soon Wires payments in another currency (i.e. not USD) are disbursed on the same day they're submitted. Submission cutoff for same-day disbursement for these wires is 2:00 PM PST. | -Beneficiary Name -Address -Contact Information -Currency -Bank Account Number -SWIFT Code or IBAN | Payments must be funded using a credit card or debit card. Not available for payments funded with an American Express card. International wire payments can be sent to recipients in USD. Available for 50+ countries.
